The Dead Sea
Located 40 km from Amman is the Dead Sea , also known to be the lowest point on earth at 300 meters below sea level. The Dead Sea is believed to be the site of the biblical cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. The Dead Sea is the world's second saltiest lake in the world, so swimming in the Dead Sea is characterized by its pleasurable floating sensation where one can relax.

Mount Nebo
